Paper crafts and making toys from paper
A few years ago I discovered a web site with absolutely wonderful paper crafts. I have visited it many time since then, and happily used some of the ideas the creator has to share. The site is The Toymaker .
The creator has covered almost every holiday possible. The items to print and fold into placecards, greeting cards, marble-driven vehicles and candy boxes. One of my favorite items are the cards and envelope that I can give a friend with ‘feel-good” messages to encourage her throughout the day, and especially to remind my friend how much she does for those around her.
All the materials are copyrighted by the creator Marilyn Scott-Waters, but she generously offers them for our use. Ms Waters also includes a peek at the books she’s written and illunstrated, a bit about her homelife with her child, and a parenting tool she calls Time Out Cards.
But I still think the best find on her website are the numerous “Folding paper Toys you can Make Yourself.” The items can be downloaded and printed from a PDF (Adobe) file. The quality is great, but the CREATIVITY is amazing. It really shows how much Marilyn loves creating these items.
I hope you will take a look, and find it as much fun as I have! Thank you for giving them to us, Marilyn!
Peace,
Ann
