Hi Moms,

Do you ever feel like the only thing to look at in your house is clutter and mess. Well, you, like I, have probably come to realize that clutter and mess is part of a busy household with children.

Next to my computer I have created a space for Beauty! The Beauty of God’s creation. I marked out an area, and wrote: This space reserved for something beautiful and inspiring. It is here that I place something of wonder, created by the God of Creation.

Right now I have a little oriental dish of rocks — each different – and which bring memories of the California beach where I gathered them in 1978. The space is large enough for a small vase of flowers, or any other thing that fits the description of beautiful and inspiring.

I have come to the realization that mess and clutter are a part of my life now (boo, hoo), but I also want to give space to the beautiful things I have collected. It is my chance to give honor and glory to God the Creator.

So my advice to you, if you feel you are drowning in mess — Create a space for beauty.
