About This Blog’s Writer
A writer since age 7, my first endeavor was poetry. I produce mainly poetry until my young adult years, with the exception of the requisite school reports and term papers. A taste of Creative Writing came in my senior year of High School.
Life took off and as a wife and mother, I only found a little time for an occasional inspired piece of writing. IN the 7 years between my 4th and 5th child, I began writing for publication and payment. A twice-monthly column of my personal experince and recollections became a popular item in our local newspaper.
Well, life continues to take off and now a mother of 7 children, with 4 out of college, I have a different type of flexibility that allows me to write. Two children are homeschooled, grades 10 and 8, and our 4 year old is always on the scene! Oldest Daughter and her husband have 4 little boys. Life is busy, life is good.
My vocation as a wife and mother, and grandmother finds meaning in my Catholic Faith. I am devoted to my family, and Crafts are my Sanity!
