Catholic Crafts for Kids, Crafts for Books

campo-di-fiori.jpg

Hi Friends and Readers.

I have followed the comments left by my readers, and I have looked into the different searches that bring readers to my GodFamilyCrafts site at Today.com.  It seems many of my readers are looking for Catholic crafts to do with kids, or crafts to do with children’s books.

I would like to invite you all to send me your craft project requests so that I might help you have creative fun while teaching the children.

I look forward to hearing from you and will do my best to help you develop a craft project for your topic.  Contact me!

Ann

I Read a Great Book — and it felt good to laugh out loud!

I just finished Mama Makes Up Her Mind and other dangers of Southern Living.  by Bailey White.

White is a first grade teacher, unmarried, who lives with her determined, aging mother.  The chapters are essays, quick to read and ever so enjoyable.

You know, when you are reading a book (silently) it is down-right funny to laugh out loud.  This book did it for me.

White writes about her own life, her mother, and other relatives.  She talks about challenges she’s undertaken like buying a new car and planting a successful wildflower garden.  Her stories are warm and snappy at the same time.  They are heartfelt and fun-making — good clean fun.

I recommend this to anyone who needs a good laugh - especially one they can relate to — even if they aren’t sure quite why.

Happy Reading!
